2012 Honda Civic Sedan

You may know what kind of Civic matches your own style. Now comes the next step: getting personal with it. The 2012 Civic makes it a snap with i-MID, or intelligent Multi-Information Display, that sits front and center in the Civic's instrument panel (LX and above).

Photos
Nothing says "me" like the wallpaper on your computer. Now you can do the same in your Civic. Load an image of your pet, your mom, or even one of yourself. We won't judge.

Info
The new i-MID is your go-to for every important tidbit of drive-related information. See current song playing, current mpg-and even turn-by-turn directions if you opt for the available Navigation system[1].

Bluetooth® Capability
The list of advanced i-MID functions is a long one, including Bluetooth® HandsFreeLink®[2] for hands-free phone calls. The system pairs easily with your compatible phone, and is also ready for Bluetooth® Audio, so you can stream your music too.

Crystal Clear
Not only is the i-MID helpful and customizable, it's pretty, thanks to its high-resolution color TFT LCD display?the same kind of technology found on LCD monitors and the latest smartphones.

2012 Honda Civic Coupe

Just Put it in ECON
The Civic now gives you a quick and easy way to drive in the most frugal manner possible. Just push the ECON button (1). The Civic engine and other power-using systems will then go into super-efficient mode to maximize your fuel efficiency.

Economy Coach
For an interactive approach to squeezing every mile out of a gallon, keep an eye on the blue and green bars on either side of the speedometer. That's the Honda Eco Assist (1) feature, the same system found in our hybrid models. Keep it in the green, and you'll go farther. Or turn it off if you don't need the help.

The Bottom Line: High MPG[2]
All of the gas-saving technology in the new Civic may help you get an estimated 39 mpg on the highway[2].

2012 Honda Civic Hybrid
The Civic Hybrid now has a quick and easy way to boost your efficiency. Just push the ECON button (1). The engine and other power-using systems will then go into super-efficient mode to maximize your mileage.

Coach is Calling
If you're trying to squeeze every mile out of a gallon (and who isn't these days?), keep an eye on the Honda Eco Assist (1) feature. Those blue and green bars on either side of the speedometer indicate your level of efficiency as you drive.

Hybrids Go the Distance
All Civic models have Eco Assist™, but the Hybrid model makes the most of it by giving you a handy Eco Guide to help you along the way, and by tabulating your Eco Score at the end of each drive.

Give Me an MPG
Take advantage of all the gas-saving technology in a new Civic Hybrid, and you can get an EPA estimated 44 mpg[2] on the highway. That's money in the tank.

The Civic Hybrid benefits from the all the innovations since Honda introduced the first gas-electric hybrid to the American market in 1999. It's all led to this latest milestone: a next-generation Civic Hybrid available with an impressive AT-PZEV CARB Emissions Rating[3].

2012 Honda Civic HF Sedan

New to the Civic lineup, the Civic HF takes fuel efficiency to higher levels[2].

The Slippery Civic
The new Civic HF has the same smooth, mpg-enhancing shape as all Civics.

The Science of Fuel Saving
The Civic HF also gets the same efficient powerplant as the rest of the lineup, but adds an aerodynamic decklid spoiler and unique alloy wheels with low rolling-resistance tires.

Go Low
To further enhance aerodynamics, the ride of the HF was lowered a bit compared to other Civic models, and special wind-cheating underbody panels were also added.
