Honda Transmission Kicks Off $70M Expansion

Honda 1st In Consumer Loyalty

Its official, Honda has the most loyal customers of any automotive brand. According to a customer survey in its eighth year released by J.D. Power and Associates, this loyalty study "measures the rate at which automotive brands retain their existing customers and the reasons why owners remain loyal."

For 2010, Honda tied with American auto maker Ford for first place, with 62% of owners remaining loyal to the brand, says J.D. Power.

The 2011 Honda Fit is headed to dealership lots, and the Japanese auto maker has released official  pricing for the segment-leading subcompact hatchback. The Fit will now start at $15,850.

Choosing to swap out the stock five-speed manual for an automatic will cost an additional $800. At that starting price, Honda now includes the stability assist technology, cruise control, remote entry, and a USB audio interface.
