Honda has received many accolades in the past, but in today's world nothing shines brighter than being named the Best Green Car to hit dealership lots and customer driveways.

Honda did this twice. The officials at KBB.com have named both the small Honda Fit and Honda Insight hybrid best on a list of Kelley Blue Book Top 10 Green Cars for 2010.

Honda just released some of its most highly anticipated models, including the all new Odyssey minivan, the updated Fit and their popular Insight Hybrid. All these vehicles are earning top awards and shopper's attention thanks to a little help from social media.

If you don't already know, social media is one of the fastest growing (and ever-changing) advertising tends today. It encompasses blog posts, link building and the use of sites such as Facebook and Twitter to get a message out.

Honda must love a parade, since the Japanese auto maker has bought their way into sponsoring one of the most famous holiday parades in North America.

The well known Tournament of Roses in Pasadena, Calif., has gone for 121 years without a major corporate sponsor adding its name to the event. But 2010 will bring the dawn of a new era - The Honda Rose Parade.

"When a new car is unveiled to the public, the thousands of decisions that went into its conception often get lost in the hullabaloo -- along with the identities of the people who made them," this according to CNN Money, which took a closer look at the recreation of Honda's Odyssey.
