Honda Jazz and Fit, Making Green Music Together

Honda has unveiled their all new Jazz Hybrid to the world, or as it is known in the United States: Honda Fit.
The Fit Hybrid is being branded globally as "The World's First hybrid Supermini." It already has a huge following online, and the Japanese auto maker is implementing some of the smartest online marketing to date - using mobile games, FaceBook applications and social networking sites to promote the vehicle.
The Jazz hybrid will borrow most of the propulsion from Honda Insight. This includes a 87bhp 1.3-liter i-VTEC engine connected to a 14bhp electric motor, as well as a nickel metal hydride battery pack that will drive the vehicle in electric-only mode.
Honda has yet to release fuel consumption figures for the Fit hybrid, which set to debut (as Jazz) at the 2010 Paris Motor Show; though they admitted numbers will be comparable to those of Honda's Insight - which rank around 40 city, 43 highway.
Pricing is also still a mystery. Some fear the addition of an electric motor could kill off the Fit/Jazz low starting price of around $17,500 for the regular, non-hybrid variant. But we won't guess and await Honda to make it's announcement.
Schedule a test drive of the all new Honda Fit Hybrid at Scholfield Honda - 7017 East Kellogg Dr, Wichita, KS 67207.
