Here at Scholfield Honda, we've been bragging about all of the new features of the 2012 Honda CR-V for a few months now. And, countless Wichita area drivers have come by our showroom to take one for a test drive. There's no doubt that it's a huge hit.
Except, Honda has been testing the patience of overseas drivers, keeping the European variant of the new CR-V under wraps. That is, until the Geneva Motor Show last week, when Honda pulled the covers off of the brand-new SUV.
It looks a lot like the American CR-V, but it is just a bit different. Like the model you'll find in the Scholfield Honda showroom, it's more aerodynamic than the last generation. The grille is bolder, and the lines are more deeply sculpted. Critics in Geneva absolutely loved the new CR-V, and we're sure they'll feel the same way about the finished production version set to debut in Paris later this year.
Interested in learning more about the new CR-V? Well, lucky for you, unlike European drivers, you don't have to wait until the fall to take one for a spin. In fact, you can stop by our showroom today to see all of the new features Honda has infused into the 2012 CR-V.
Not sure if you're ready to give up your older CR-V? Well, here in the United States, the new CR-V boasts a jump in fuel economy, a quieter ride, a longer list of standard features and technology, and a more fluid design - inside and out. We think our friends over at Motor Trend describe the 2012 model best when they say, "The 2012 CR-V will give loyalists everything they loved about the old model, plus a little more."1
