I wanted to let you know about the excellent service I received from your "service department."Mr. Scholfield,
Matt Parks took care of my car and me when I came in last Thursday with a strange noise in the right back area which occurred, sometimes, when I would drive over bumps. He and two other young men, who I talked with at various times, never made me feel as if I was, "just a woman (elderly - 75) who was hearing things. Their politeness is refreshing.
Then Ryan Smith from the repair area came and drove my car - and thankfully, the noises did occur. I want to thank him, also, for his persistence in finding the spots where the noise was coming from - and fixing it, which entailed him having to ride around in the trunk of the car.
This "caring" attitude has occurred every time I have brought in my car for service, which is one of the reasons why I purchased my second Honda from you last year.
The ladies at the "cashier" desk, Holly and Debra, are also very courteous and friendly.
Anyway, congratulations to you, for having these caring employees.
Many thanks,
Dana G,
Mr. Scholfield,
I am taking the time to let you know of the excellent service I
received from your service manager Jason Reitmayer. I have a 99 Honda
Accord that I took into your West side service for an oil leak. The
problem was found (head gasket cylinder/seal) and resolved or so I
thought. About three weeks later the hose from radiator to engine blew
(I had new hoses, clamps, and belts installed) spraying coolant all over
the engine. When I contacted Jason about this and explained what
happened, he stated he would resolve the problem. I was given a loaner
vehicle and Honda service came and picked up my vehicle. Jason kept me
informed daily as to progress on what was happening and possible
resolution. The problem was found (cracked block) and fixed.
I wanted to let you know because of service I received from Jason and
warranty on Honda Service/Parts I will continue to tell people of
excellent service I received. It is refreshing to know that in this
uncertain economic downturn that some people/companies stand by their
work and are willing to work with their costumers. In the future I will
continue to purchase Honda vehicles
Thank You again for your timeMark L.,
Mr. Scholfield,
In November 2008 I purchased a 2002 CRV and a 2006 Pilot. I gave Tyler a
pretty bad time when negotiating on the CRV, I could not get the price I
wanted and I ended up walking out without buying it. The next day I
received a call from you--something you said and the fact that this was the
only CRV we could find that had a beige interior brought us back to the
agency. Everyone we came in contact with seemed like they were really there
to make the customer happy. Tyler, Kelly, the receptionist and of course
you. I had never had the owner of an New Car agency get involved in the
sale.
A couple of weeks later we discovered a vibration in the Pilot at 65mph and
above, and we also had trouble starting it. I made an appointment, brought
it to the agency , Steve the service writer was a good listener, when I
explained the problem and asked that he ride with me, he called one of your
techs(wish I could think of his name because he was really good) we got in
the car, he agreed we had a problem, asked to keep the care to give him
more time to diagnose the problem, it turned out it was a problem with the
"B" pipe whatever that is, they did have to order the part, it came in they
fixed the pipe and replace all of the keys as there was a problem with the
chip.
I was impressed that Steve had been there for 10 years. Everyone I dealt
with was courteous and respectful. This was all covered by Honda which made it even better. I feel I have 2 quality cars and a quality dealership to
deal with.
THANK YOUByron W,
Mr. Scholfield,
Okay this is my story and I'm sticking to it! There once was a nice girl named Paige who met Roger Schofield one unassuming morning around 7:30 on an innocent Thursday. In the course of casual conversation the nice girl said that her darling daughter was looking for a car around 5000 dollars and if he were to hear of anything to let her know. Well, needless to say, with in a few hours Paige got a call from Roger saying that he had found the best car in all the land, but being that it was of superior quality and had just received the car on trade only a few hours previous it would surely bring the most reasonable price of 7950. Hmmmmmm, thought Paige...( actually her real thought was that she should have told King Roger that her daughter only wanted to spend 2000 on a car... :) So Roger, insisted that Paige come in to see the car as soon as possible and right now would be best as he didn't know how long he could hold off the other salesmen from swooping up this fine specimen of a vehicle because it surely wouldn't last long, he was also sure to give fair warning that it would be gone by the weekend if not the end of the day so I really needed to hurry!!! I explained that I was preparing for company coming in from New York the next day, I was in the middle of doing all my baking and that I would not have one free moment to come down to the dealership till at least the next day if not Monday. Oh no, no, no that just would not do, so Roger summoned Prince Sebastian and told the lovely Paige that he would have the car to HER at her house in the next 20 minutes for her to see and drive !!! As promised, the door bell rang and the Lady of the House was met with a big smile and a warm handshake at the front door. Since Paiges hands were spotted with remnants of the dough she had been slaving away over she decided it best to have the young Sebastian do the driving while she enjoyed the ride from the passengers seat as she relaxed in the cool air conditioned car with the Fall sun coming thru the window as her cookies were baking in the oven. ( Insert an "Awwwww" for effect here :) It was a true Calgon moment to stop from the hectic pace of the day...and, this was all before noon mind you !!! Paige quickly realized the creative marketing mastermind at work and saw that Schofield Honda was doing business a little differently from the other guys in town. A personal touch always sets you apart from the other Guys !!! So after a quick spin around the neighborhood, the deal had been made, just a few details left to hammer out and papers to sign. Sebastians congenial personality was a big bonus in making the customer feel trusting and comfortable. Paige was able to get back to her task at hand and the process did not interrupt her day to badly. She soon realized that she had met Roger for the first time in her life before breakfast and had bought a car from him before lunch ! ...whew, he's good! The next day, paperwork was prepared by the efficient Bryce ( sorry if that is not the right name then please insert correctly) and was ready for Paige to come in and sign, sign ,sign and be outta there in about 20-30 minutes on the way back from picking up company at the airport and rejoin her guests in time for dinner. Sebastian made sure that everything was in order so it could go as expeditiously as possible as he was acutely aware of the customers time frame. So after dinner that night, everyone was retiring to the Family Room and Paige started rehashing this whirlwind story of the past 36 hours to her guests not leaving one detail unturned, when from no where and as if on cue, Paige starts hearing Rogers voice from behind her. She quickly realized during her 180 degree pivot that Roger was practically life size in the Family room on the 60 inch Plasma Flat Screen !!! It was all so surreal that it felt like time was falling into slow motion as she watched her arm raise an accusing finger pointing to the tv proclaiming "Thats HIM, thats the ONE, he's the GUY that just sold me the car" Everyone burst into laughter and thought that the moment could earn millions being auctioned off to Sitcomville! And we all lived happily ever after, ... and Paiges baked goods were simply divine...as usual !!! :) The End!Paige,
Mr. Scholfield,
I want to thank Vinnie Koc for taking good car of my Honda when I come in for service and always being there for me when I need help!
Salome and Sammy,
Mr. Scholfield,
I want to say a big thank you to our salesman, Chris Moore for all his help, patience and values assistance over the past several weeks. He is a caring thoughtful person .
Charlie and Yvonne Kirker,
Mr. Scholfield,
It was a pleasure meeting you. As I told you then, I had a very satisfying visit to your east side dealership yesterday thanks to the exceptional service provided by Terry Hollinger, Tom Mahon and Drew Droegemeier. Each of these individuals went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that my car trading experience left nothing to be desired.Terry, Tom and Drew made sure that I had all the information I needed regarding the transaction. I was extremely impressed by the knowledge, courtesy and professionalism of all three of these gentlemen. They are outstanding representatives of your dealership.
Bryan D.,
Mr. Scholfield,
I want to thank you for all the kindness shown me when I had my car fixed at your shop. It's nice to know that there are "good" people like you in business!
God Bless All of You
Jackie S.,
Mr. Scholfield,
Will you please allow me to give some special thanks to members of the Scholfield team who clearly went above and beyond the call of duty. As you know, we recently purchased our 7th Scholfield Honda vehicle - a 2000 Odyssey. We picked it up on Thursday and promptly put it to good use on a SCUBA weekend trip.
Unfortunately, as we drove back into town Sunday afternoon, the transmission began acting up. And by the time we made it to the house, we clearly had a major failure. We dropped the van off at your shop Monday morning.
The news was not good - a new transmission was needed. I prepared myself for the bad news but there wasn't any! Tom Mahon said that all would be taken care of because the vehicle had broken down the first time we used it. I was really astounded at this!
We were told the van would be ready Friday afternoon and my wife made plans to pick it up - we needed it to move furniture from my Dad's place that weekend. At about 5PM Friday, she got a call from Matt Parks. Matt explained that it was quite ready - they needed about another hour because when test driving the new transmission they discovered a problem with the brakes. Matt and Brad Fullbright stayed late on a Friday night to get the repairs completed and the van was ready at 6PM.
We then were shocked again when we were told that the repair on the brakes was taken care of, too.
Roger, even though we have gotten used to great customer service at Scholfield Honda, this experience was truly above and beyond the call of duty. I think special recognition is due to Matt, Brad and Tom for their total commitment to "making it right" by the customer.
Thanks very much,David F.,
Mr. Scholfield,
My family and I are repeat customers of Schofield Honda and Acura. I recently brought my 02 Acura in for service at the Honda location. I would like to commend a couple of your people.
Patrick was the service adviser and was cheerful, helpful and informative. Thank you.
When I picked up my auto, unfortunately, it wouldn't start! Matt figured out the problem, made a call for me regarding a new battery, and helped me get on my way in a timely manner.
Good service is noticed and appreciated. Good service and kindness were both extended to me.
Please thank Patrick and Matt.
Gayle J.,
Mr. Scholfield,
My husband and I purchased a new Honda Civic on Saturday from your dealership. We are very pleased with the car and with the service we received from your employees. Dave Bloir has been very accommodating; he took care of every detail. Give that man a raise! And the gentleman in the finance department was very pleasant and made the loan process a smooth one.
Over the years, our family has purchased four Scholfield Hondas. We drove our Accord for ten years with no problems. Our son, Ben purchased a Civic from you several years ago. He had an accident on 135 about two years ago. Two cars t-boned him on the highway. Because he had his seat belt on and because of the safety features in his car (and some good defensive driving), Ben walked away from that accident without a scratch. He has since purchased a new Civic in Kansas City. He's sold on Hondas for life.
Two years ago, we purchased a new CRV which my husband enjoys very much. It's been a great traveling car and got us to and from our other son's wedding in Arizona comfortably and safely just a few weeks ago. When we decided to trade in my Infiniti, the choice for our next car was easy. After careful research, we found that a new Civic was the best buy for safety, reliability and fuel efficiency. And, it's a lot of fun to drive. At this point, we're thinking we should sign up for the Scholfield family plan :-) You sell the best products on the market, that's why we continue to buy Hondas. We could make our purchases somewhere else, but your company provides the best service in town.
I manage a nonprofit organization and am responsible for the services we provide. In my position, the complaints come to my desk. I imagine that happens to you too. So I thought you would appreciate hearing from a very happy customer.
Thank you for being a part of the Wichita business community for so many years and for your exemplary service. All of you are appreciated.
Robert and Anne,
Mr. Scholfield,
I am sorry to be so neglectful in thanking you and Jason Reitmayer for all that was done for me when I brought in my Honda Civic Hybrid. I was in total shock when Jason called to tell me that the problem I was having was in my air conditioner. My car is over the warranty and I would have to pay more that $900.00 for the repairs. Since my car had low millage and was a 2004. Jason told me he would call Honda as he said he hadn't seen a Civic Hybrid with this problem and that it shouldn't have happened because of the car's age and millage. I was so happy when he called me and told me that there would be no charge for the service or the parts. I own a Honda accord 94 and a 86 accord. My grandsons have been driving them and except for the hail damage on the 86 everything is still OK. That is the biggest reason I own Honda's
I bought all of these when they were new, after my daughter and I both drove used Honda's and were so happy with them. Thank you again so much.Marilyn D.,
Mr. Scholfied,
I would like to thank you again for everything you did to make my new car purchase such a wonderful experience. I am thrilled with my new car.
I can not say enough about your outstanding sales staff. Working with Chevis was such a pleasure. He is exceptional along with the rest of your team.
I have and will tell everyone about my wonderful experience and tell them there is no where else to buy a car. Thank you!Esther M.,
Mr. Scholfield,
My wife and I couldn't be more pleased with the services Scholfield Honda has provided for us. Scholfield has a great staff and we have dealt with several people since the purchase of our first Honda and couldn't be more pleased. You have been very patient with the number of calls I've made to your office and I very much appreciate that. Patience a lot of times is difficult to find these days. On several occasions, I've also spoken with Ron and he has been great as well.
Have a great day and keep up the great work!David S.,
I would like to thank you and your sales team at Scholfield Honda in Wichita, KS. I have came in 2 times now once on a used car and then on a new Element. I really liked that I didn't have a high pressure salesman on my back. After all the one term I had to hear is "what is it going to take to put you in this car today." I didn't hear that with your team and that is great cause well, I would have left. Your team showed professionalism and confidence in the sale of my Element.
Tim T.,
I just wanted to let you know what a great customer service experience I recently had with Ray Campbell. I work for Westar Energy and we were using the Green Zone room for training. I asked Ray where the closest car wash was because my company van was dirty. He offered to clean it for me using Scholfield's car wash. That was very unexpected and very much appreciated, as I was on my way to Topeka for a meeting.
Thank you Ray! You made my day!
